vests for boys

I know its getting to Bea bit warm for wool blend vests, but I really didn't have to wait until October to start working on them. I live in the desert so it would be late November before the boys could west them.

Anyway, I'm tryingto burn through my stash! Wouldn't it b great to buy all new yarn to work with in our all new house? I thought so ( pray that escrow closes wibout a Hitch).

I took a simple vest pattern from one book, and simple colorwork stitch pattern from another and Voila! Brave gets a vest!

I'm not sure if I'll have enough left over to make Mace one. Unless of course he wants a peach one. Or perhaps one on rainbow sock yarn. But I dontthink he does.
