a tribute to Lisa Frank

Ah, Lisa Frank. Remember her? The bright happy artwork of Lisa Frank glistened everywhere on gals between the ages of 6 and 16 ( and if you were super cool on into your 20s).


The hot pink And purple spotted leopards printed on high gloss folders brought a smile to many a face.

So when I started knitting this sweater in the fabulous rainbow yarn I recently purchased, I thought " holy crap! Its a Lisa Frank sweater!"

So while I We not originally intending this to be a tribute, it is completely unavoidable.

As twenty year L.F fan, I tip my proverbial hat to you Lisa!
( p.s keep your nose clean, no more shoddy business practices.)
