So what you are looking at is the waistband of a wool soaked sleep sack for Invisibaby. Its a 2/2 rib with a lattice cable panel.down the center. The ' blanket' part will be done in moss stitch. I cast on with 4s and increased to 8s after the ribbing. I did an eyelet tow for cording if its needed ( but I don't think it will be). I'm going to do moss stitch for about 18 more inches and somewhere in there increase about 10 stitches in there somewheres an add another eyelet row across the bottom. I'd like to do some sort of decorative edging on the bottom. Add a Picot edging maybe?
